Southcoast Begins Sales of New Downtown Delray Beach Condo Residence
Location, upgraded features and amenities differentiate urban project
Delray Beach, FL-Tuesday, June 6, 2006- New homes, shops, restaurants and parking are on the way for Delray Beach as Southcoast Partners kicks off sales and marketing at Worthing Place.
Worthing Place will be an upscale courtyard-style community on three acres featuring 217 one, two and three bedroom residences starting at $350,000 during its preconstruction phase. With a restaurant and local retail shops on the ground floor, Worthing Place will be the perfect location for those seeking a unique downtown experience.
Location, location, location
“As an urban developer and Delray Beach resident, I know first hand the character and lifestyle this city has to offer; which is why I’m excited about bringing Worthing Place to market,” said Southcoast Partners president Bill Morris who is locally renown for downtown Boca Raton’s Palmetto Place luxury residential community.
Worthing Place capitalizes on the blend of historic neighborhood charm and a trendy scene that has made Delray Beach one of South Florida’s most desirable real estate markets.
“More and more people are deciding that downtowns are the place to be,” says Morris, who’s focus has been on building communities in great urban areas. “Our location is superior to any other location that will ever be built in Delray Beach.”
Exceptional spaces, features and amenities
The project marks the newest residential and retail development in downtown Delray Beach wrapped around an urban oasis of tranquil water and orchid gardens, sitting pools, fountains and lounge areas. Inside, a member’s only parlor, lounge and bar area will provide a social setting while business and fitness centers will make work and play an easy balance for residents.
Catering to its urban lifestyle, services such as 24-hour security, concierge and valet are part of what it means to live at Worthing Place. Discerning buyers will appreciate the attention to detail and extra touches including high finished ceilings, large romantic balconies, European influenced kitchens and baths featuring stylistic touches such as Carrera marble counter tops, finished flooring and upgraded fixtures, appliances and cabinetry.
More parking
Continuing the theme of sticking with concepts that have proven successful at previous projects, Southcoast Partners will be including a 394-space parking garage completely hidden from outside view.
In addition, a 202 space-parking garage located off second avenue and Atlantic Avenue is now under construction by Southcoast Partners for the City of Delray Beach. The completion of this public parking garage is scheduled for late 2006 and will mark the start of the Worthing Place construction.
A leading team
A leader in delivering exceptional urban residential developments, Southcoast Partners, has assembled an award-winning team to design, build and market Worthing Place. The project’s general contractor is Current Builders, named 2005 General Contractor of the Year by the South Florida Business Journal. Cohen, Freedman, Encinosa & Associates Architects, world-class leaders in urban residential projects throughout South Florida, will be heading the design services of Worthing Place. Sales and marketing of Worthing Place is lead by Kelly Kigar and Emily Mazza, the same professional sales team that packaged and successfully sold Palmetto Place.
Buyers looking for specific lifestyle
This urban development targets primary and secondary home buyers as well as the investment market looking for the perfect blend of urban living wrapped around the quaintness of Delray Beach, known as “the Village by the Sea” and voted America’s Best City.
With its ideal location just a short walk from the beach and all the bustle of ‘the Ave,” ranging from eclectic bars and upscale restaurants to quaint coffee shops and art galleries, Worthing Place offers a blend of old world architecture and South Beach living.
It’s called casual urban living. Having all the contemporary comforts with the option to walk out your front door and just steps away grab a latte at Starbucks, a bite to eat an award-winning restaurant, visit your favorite art gallery or take a walk on the beach for a sunrise or sunset stroll.
“This is a once in a lifetime development that is destined to be the focal point of downtown Delray Beach,” said Morris.
